Shot description, purpose of the experiment:
		This discharge is one in a systematic scan of the ECH power
		deposition radius (rdep), where all other plasma parameters
		were kept fixed as much as possible.
		In this scan it was found that the Te profile responds
		stepwise to changes in rhodep  the plot Te(0) vs. rdep for
		the whole scan is a 'staircase', where flat parts are
		separated by sharp drops.
		The flat parts have been labeled A (with 0<rdep<~0.25) to
		E (with ~0.5<rdep<~0.6).

		THIS shot is the standard shot of the D level, which has
		been used in many papers and presentations.
		Also for the other levels, one standard discharge has been
		provided to the profile data base

		The discharges of level B to E have a hollow Te profile inside
		rdep. Simple power balance (neglecting possible off-diagonal
		terms) yields chie < 0 inside rdep.

Other information:

A. General note on RTP;
Electrons are well diagnosed in RTP, ions are poorly diagnosed.
Therefore RTP data should only be used for the analysis of electron (thermal)
transport.

B. General assumptions used for all RTP discharges;
1. On Zeff;
   No direct Zeff measurements are available.
   Zeff is calculated from the measured Te(r) profile and the
   loop voltage, assuming a flat Zeff profile.
2. On ion temperature;
   No Ti measurements are available.
   In ohmic discharges the assumption Ti(r)=0.7*Te(r) is made;
   in EC heated discharges a Ti profile is assumed, such that the inferred
   chi-i has a reasonable value (~2 times neo-classical).
   This estimated Ti profile is used for the evaluation of
   the 0D-parameters BEPMHD, BEILI2, RMAG,
   and the 1D-parameters QEI and CHIE.
   It should be noted, however, that the energy content of the
   ions in a typical ohmic RTP discharge (Ti=0.7*Te, Zeff=2)
   is only 35% of the electron energy content; in an EC heated
   discharge this fraction is even smaller.
   Hence, even a 50% error on Ti yields only a <= 12% error
   on the total energy content.
   The only parameter that is is strongly affected is QEI.
3. On current density;
   CURTOT is calculated from Te profile, taking into account
   neoclassical resistivity and bootstrap current.
   CURTOTEB is the error on j due to statistical & systematic errors on Te,
   and the uncertainty on j_boot and trapped particle correction
4. On geometry;
   The RTP plasma, with a top and bottom limiter, is assumed to
   be circular. Measurements indicate, that this is true within ~5%.
   Therefore, the following parameters are given fixed values
   AMIN, KAPPA(=1), DELTA(=0), INDENT(=0), AREA and VOL.

C. On the parameter EVAP;
In RTP the following mix is used to cover the inside of the vessel;
20% B(CH3)3 ('tri-methyl-boron') + 80% He
This has been labeled BOROD

D On the 1D parameter PRAD ;
Radiation losses on RTP were measured with a bolometer. However, after
shutdown of RTP in september 1998, it was found that the bolometer was
contaminated, which caused the measured signals to be much too low.
Therefore, no PRAD file has been written.
Data from an earlier stage of RTP, when the bolometer gave correct measurements,
showed typical values in this type of (high density) discharges of ~30 kW
in ohmic plasma, and ~40 kW during ECH.
As these losses are mainly generated near the edge, PRAD is not a significant
player in the electron pwoer balance.
